The " Tripod of life" on which gud health depends includes nutrition,physical activity and the role of the mind.
A healthy diet includes a variety of foods...basically it categorised into three groups.
1.Energy giving foods containing carbohydrates and fats.

2.Body building food : proteing rich foods like milk,meat,fish,eggs,poultry,pulses and nuts.

3.Protective foods: Rich in minerals and vitamins. They protect the body from infections and strengthen the immune system

Care should be taken to include one or more foodstuffs from each of the three groups in every meal..............
